Task 6 Boiling it down.
Step1
Plot summary
Because i have a wild imagination right now, im thinking of adding a bit of my culture (Cook Island) into my game. Eg. my language, custom and legends. Add a dose of maori education for my consumers yeah? Its obvious that my game will have a tropical like theme to it.So im looking at a female protagonist from a foreign land being sent off by her parents to live with a distant relative (for a disciplinary act) the place her relative lives on is an island known as 'Avaiki'. Avaiki means alot of things in our language but im going to stick with paradise. The protagonist of the game will arrive at Avaiki by Vaka, where she will be greeted by the village people. -im setting the time frame back in the old days a few years after the missionary came. She meets her relative and is shown/toured around the island. She is warned by her relative not to wander around during a full moon night due to an old tale/legend. Of course she doesn't listen because of curiosity and stubborn genes😂 she ends up getting tangled in a world of both reality and fiction. She will face a number of levels in order to find her way out of the universe. These levels will consist of the legends from my homeland. Katikatia, Ati e te Momoke, Ina e te Tuna, and some more. In my game she needs to collect certain items from each of the local legends in order to get out. Her guidance will be something(still thinking about it), each of the item she needs to get has a significant meaning to her heritance. The villians in my game will be the villians in each legends.
[Note: I'm thinking on using some of our Cook Island Maori dialect in my game]
Bro use the Cook island language, it will be cool as.. no lies
ReplyDeleteThat's what I'm going to do. The language used in my game will be in Cook Island Maori.
