Super bounce

Super bounce focuses on one thing. That is to keep the glowing ball from getting pass you. You're against a computer, you're the blue spacebar and the computer is the red spacebar. All you need to do is get the ball in you're rivals goal, and you get points. Just like in a soccer game, except there's only two players; you and the computer. Thats all to it. I reckon Super bounce is a suitable game for mature audiences in the office[or any with a computer = stress relieve] it can even go under escapism. A little something to entertain you during boredom- if that makes sence.

Can't really describe the art in this game. Super bounce looks like a game that came out of the 90's(or it might be a recreation of one) Theres literally just you[the blue spacebar] and the computer/rival/enemy [the red spacebar]. Oh..and the glowing ball. The background color of this game is a light purplish grey background. The dominant colors are that of the players; red and blue.

The game-play of Super bounce is pretty easy/simple. The [LEFT<] and [RIGHT>] arrows are used for movements. Its easy to play, just keep the ball away from your goal by blocking its path[blue space bar] The challenging thing in this game is that there is a time where the ball would go faster and you have to keep up with the ball and defend. Its entertaining as well as frustrating if you're a sore loser -although the game-play is simple, its better to also have a good story and maybe art to spice things up for a game.

Forest Marathon The game is set outdoor where the protagonist collects acorns. I had thought the game would be along the lines of running in the forest; like how the game Sonic Dash has that blue creature running down a lane filled with obstacles that needs to be avoided. Plus the title is literally called 'Forest Marathon' surely its got something  to do with...running..? Turns out, it was nothing like it at all- which is kind of disappointing. The protagonist of the game just had to find 5 acorns in order to move to the next level. This continues until she finds the big acorn then the game ends there. It was shocking to see that the majority of our audience -who answered the  monkey survey based on gaming- were females!! I had made the assumption that males would take the lead in playing video games instead of females. World Building

Task 7-  Now its time to design your world!     -I want to base my game on the Cook Islands, I'm planning on using the different tourist attractions in my game for my island(world), e.g Atiu - Island of birds and underground caves, Mauke - underwater caves, Aitutaki - beautiful lagoon. Uses of colors in Avaiki - My game will have two worlds; the real world Avaiki and the parallel one(still trying to find a name) Both my worlds will be set on islands, they would obviously have similar appearances but the differences to the real and parallel world will be made obvious.  The game will be set within the parallel world( Avaiki will be in the intro of my game, its actual starter will be when the protagonist enters the parallel world)  I've envisioned a 'Alice in wonderland' kind of theme/world.
